Dinant Duenk

At the age of seven Dinant came in touch with the music of Deep Purple, thanks to his big brother. This great band has inspired him since then. When he was fifteen years old he could start as a drummer in a band. He proposed to play songs of his great examples, but the other musicians rather wanted to play songs of Iron Maiden and other bands that were popular in the late 80's.

Dinant didn't make a big thing of that, because he knew his time would come. And soon the moment was there: after many band changes and some other bands he found a band that really wanted to play songs of Deep Purple, next to songs of Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin and The Who. The band was called 'Purple Haze' and existed until 2009. At that time Dinant was asked to play the character of Judas, from the musical Jesus Christ Superstar.

In the years to come Dinant also performed with the hard rock band No Issue and he also did some projects 'Oers Prong' and 'Jubelum'. Early 2013 Dinant started with the final preparations for a new version of Jesus Christ Superstar.

A big dream of Dinant has always been playing with a Deep Purple tribute. Well, his dream came true. At the end of 2012 he met the boys of Purple Rainbow and after a few try-outs Dinant joined the band!
